It was a wild weekend as the whole family of 5 Architecture Tourists hit 3 holiday artist shows and 2 loft tours. More on the lofts later. Let's start with Zonolite Road, off Briarcliff near Emory. It's one of my favorite light industrial districts and a mighty easy spot for artsy Christmas shopping: Art, soaps, pottery, jewelry, screen printing.
On the left is Barbara Briggs of Barbara Bars handcrafted bath products. I'm so sorry about the picture.
When the jewelry isn't in the safe it's in these showcases:
On the right is artist Georgia Nagle with a few of her paintings in the background.
Next door are potters Lora Rust (left) and Katy McDougal who is creating Hooray For Clay in Decatur. Is "potters" the right word? How about Clay Artists?
There are more thing done with clay that I ever imagined.
Randy Pendergraf of Small World Screen Printing:
Victoria Greenhood (left) of Victoria Greenhood Jewelry Design pleased the female Architecture Tourists and me too.
Thanks,
Terry
I hope you appreciate the drivers of transit buses
