Painting, sculpture, fabric, video, music, and stunning dance by Helen Hale and George Staib.
Dashboard Co-Op held their 3rd event, Modes of Operation, in a giant room on Brady next to Miller Union last Saturday. It was an artist showcase and fundraiser but best of all a party.
"Founded in March 2010, Dashboard Co-Op offers FREE promotion and professional development to artists at critical points in their careers."
Cruel Summer by Johnathan Welsh.
Rocking.
There was a whole army in there by Patrick Flibotte.
It's a big room.
Photography by Johnathon Kelso and cool hats.
Here is Johnathon Kelso -right with Twin Kittens Gallery Director Jeffrey Guy. Congratulations to Jeffrey whose wife is expecting.
There were turquoise beams. Architecture Tourists just love that.
The busy bar...
...had legs dressed for the snow.
Most of Sean Abrahams work had red dots (sold).
I can see why.
Jay Wiggins showed furniture including this chair and the table behind.
I don't always get laundry line art but I do like this.
It was great running into Dashboard volunteer Melissa Terry-left (proprietor of Signature Baskets in Ansley Mall). She's young but an old friend of our family.
Here is a tiny video of Helen Hale and George Staib in their stunning dance.
We're looking forward to Dashboard's next event.
