It's relatively flat; it has a few of Atlanta best new buildings; two of the buildings acknowledge the corner. Colony Square, remarkably, welcomes folks inside. It's somewhat comfortable for humans. It's all so squeaky clean these days.
Here are a few lunch time walkers and First Church of Christ, Scientist (Edward E. Dougherty and Arthur Neal Robinson Sr.)
The Capanile faces the corner and has a little garden. It's not a pedestrian destination, but it feels good from street level.
1170 Peachtree Street building on the southwest corner. The entrance doesn't make me feel welcome.
1180 Peachtree Street building Here we get a breathtaking building if not a warm welcome.
1170 Peachtree Street building kind-of acknowledges the corner.
Colony Square is the people attacter for the corner. There are things to eat and do inside. It has a great atrium. Outside, it's the most human friendly.
A relic but these days it a breath of fresh air.
