Ramblers can keep the intimidating bulk down and they can get more light into the house. A new bumped out room can have windows on 3 sides.<br /><br />I think balance is more challenging to do than symmetry. We are so fortunate to live in a city with so many amazing homes, I marvel at them everyday as I drive and walk around.<br /><br />I have admired the house in my post this week for years.
